The game was a tense, back-and-forth affair that saw both teams trade the lead over a dozen times, culminating in a dramatic final sequence that will be replayed in highlights for weeks.
With the score tied at 55 and 15 seconds remaining, Faraway forward Kevin Lee missed a drive, but the rebound was tipped out of bounds by Northwood, giving the Falcons the ball back under their own basket with 7.5 seconds on the clock. Coach Alan Kim drew up a quick isolation play. Sophomore guard David Miller received the inbounds pass, dribbled once to his left, and launched a deep three-pointer just over the outstretched hands of Northwood's center.
